Sophia lately has been wishing for rain everyday so she can use her umbrella. The kid LOVES umbrellas. She asks us like 55 times a day if she can open her umbrella and we always tell her no, not unless it is raining and only outside. So last night I took her up to our local farmers market and it was a total down pour outside. I am sure the venders thought we were nuts for coming to buy produce in the rain, but wow was Sophia so happy to be using her umbrella and wearing her rain boots. She danced all around the market and jumped in all the puddles. Then to top off the crazy evening we went across the street to our neighborhood ice cream shop and we got ice cream. It was kind of silly to be eating cold ice cream when we were both soaking wet, but we had a ton of fun and did not care.
