The 2007 American Heart Association Heart Walk is this morning. We are still desperately seeking donations. Please consider making a small donation in Sophia’s honor at this secure website: http://heartwalk.kintera.org/kansascity/iheartsophia.
Thanks to any of you who have already donated. If you have not donated yet and you are able to do so, please consider it.

Approximately 40,000 babies just like Sophia are born every year in the United States. By raising awareness and research dollars you may be able to help advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart defects in children. And every little bit helps. Tell your friends, family and co-workers. We are only half way to our modest $5000 goal. Please help us reach and surpass it this year. It’s a not only a good cause but it directly impacts the care and treatment of children just like Sophia.
I can say with confidence that without the research the American Heart Association funds, Sophia’s future would be drastically different. Thanks in advance.

I just made a donation through that link. I hope I did it right, so it goes to your team. Good luck!

Best of luck with the heart walk – we wish we could donate, but as we just did ours we had best hold off this time around. One of these days we’ll be able to contribute to everyone’s.
We are cheering you on!

You’ve been an amazing support through our own whole surgery experience. Thank you so much for your insight and encouragement. Your little girl is so precious and sweet! Looking forward to keeping in touch….

I just would like to say that I hope all is well. My two first children had problems and talk about heartache and stress. It is awesome that she is so blessed to have two parents that care so much. I also think it is awesome that you were blessed with such a little beautiful girl. One day this will be behind you and it will just have made you closer and your bond unbreakable. She looks just like my little girl. I about couldn’t hold it together reading about her. It brought back so many memories. God bless you and may all be well.
